Canine Good Citizen Prep class 630PM SouthPaws

Class is held at Southpaws Doggie daycare Suite 1750 Corporate Park Pembroke start time 6:30PM. 5 weeks an hour each week. The cost is $150.This class is for those who have completed an obedience class and/or have dogs that are consistent with basic obedience commands. We will work on preparing you and your dog to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen test (CGC), which will be given in week 5.  The CGC Award is recognition that your dog has training and behaviors to make him a "good citizen" at home and in the community. You bring your dog each week. Bring lots and lots of small soft super yummy food rewards.Please print a registration form and mail with deposit .Pre registration is required. THE CANINE GOOD CITIZEN TEST consists of

1. Accepting a friendly stranger 
2. Sitting politely for petting 
3. Appearance and grooming 
4. Out for a walk 
5. Walking through a crowd 
6. Sit and down on command - staying in place 
7. Coming when called 
8. Reaction to another dog 
9. Reaction to distractions 
10. Supervised separation
